Minnesotans seeking private health insurance in 2022 have until 11:59 p.m. Saturday, January 15 to purchase coverage through MNsure.
“More than ever before, Minnesotans are eligible for savings that can significantly lower the cost of health insurance,” said MNsure CEO Nate Clark. “MNsure has health insurance to suit your needs and budget – don’t assume you won’t qualify for savings. Most Minnesotans qualify for tax credits that lower their costs. Act before the January 15 deadline to not miss your chance to get health coverage in 2022.”

Extended hours before January 15 deadline
The MNsure Call center has extended hours before the deadline.
- Thursday, January 13: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Friday, January 14: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturday, January 15: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The January 15 deadline does not apply to Minnesotans covered by MinnesotaCare or Medical Assistance, or members of federally recognized tribes, who can register through MNsure at any time of the year, including outside of the annual open registration period.

MNsure is the only place you can apply for financial assistance to reduce the cost of your monthly insurance premium and out-of-pocket. Most Minnesotans who register through MNsure are eligible for financial assistance.
